1 SCOPE

This standard specifies the terms and definitions related to the recovery of automobile and its parts and components.
This Standard applies to all kinds of automobiles used within the territory of China.

报废车辆End-of-life vehicles (ELVs)
“End-of-life vehicles (ELVs)” means a vehicle which meets the scrapping conditions according to the national requirements for compulsory scrapping of motor vehicles or which is intended to be used no longer and deliberately discarded by its owner.

拆解信息dismantling information
“Dismantling information” means the guidance information provided by the producer for the correct and environmentally sound treatment of end-of-life vehicles.
