1 SCOPE

This Part of GB/T 5137 specifies the test methods of solar characteristic of safety glazing materials used on road vehicles, i.e. solar UV transmittance test, solar direct transmittance test, solar direct reflectance test, solar direct absorptance test, solar infrared direct transmittance test, solar infrared direct reflectance test, solar infrared direct absorptance test, solar energy total transmittance test, and solar infrared heat energy total transmittance test.
This Part applies to testing the solar characteristic of safety glazing materials used on road vehicles.
