1 SCOPE
This document establishes a test method for immunity of electrical/electronic components for road vehicles to disturbances from narrowband radiated electromagnetic energy, i.e., reverberation chamber method.
This document establishes the test method for applying an electromagnetic disturbance to the device under test (DUT) and the wiring harness (in-vehicle or standard test harness) in the reverberation chamber; during test, the support equipment of the DUT can be placed either inside or outside the reverberation chamber, using the tuned mode.
This document is applicable to the immunity testing of electrical/electronic components for Categories M, N, O and L vehicles, regardless of the vehicle propulsion system, e.g., spark-ignition engine, diesel engine and electric motor.

3 TERMS AND DEFINITIONS
For the purpose of this document, the terms and definitions given in GB/T 33014.1 and the following apply.
3.1 antenna characterization factor; ACF
ratio of the average received power to forward power obtained in the antenna characterization measurement

3.2 chamber characterization factor; CCF
normalized average received power over one tuner rotation with the DUT and support equipment present
