1 Scope
This part of GB/T 228 specifies the principal, definition, symbols and description, test piece and dimension measurement, test equipment, test requirement, performance determination, rounding off of results of determination and test report for the method of tensile testing of metallic materials.
This part is applicable to the determination of the tensile property of metallic materials at room temperature.
Note: Annex A indicates complementary recommendations for computer controlled testing machines.
