Direct Methanol Fuel Cell System – Part 1: Safety
1 SCOPE
This Part of GB/T 33983 specifies the safety requirements and protective measures, type tests, and routine tests, as well as marking, labeling and packaging of the direct methanol fuel cell system (DMFCS) under normal operation, when any foreseeable misoperation occurs, and during transportation.
This Part of GB/T 33983 applies to the direct methanol fuel cell systems fuelled with methanol or methanol water solution with a rated power 1,000W, where the system with a rated power 240W is classified into the micro fuel cell system, while the system with a rated power 240W and 1,000W is classified into the portable fuel cell system; see Table 1 for the specific classification.
