1 SCOPE
This standard specifies the dimensions of secondary cell, battery module and standard battery case of the traction battery for electric vehicles (hereinafter referred to as the battery).
This standard is applicable to the lithium-ion battery and nickel-metal hydride battery installed in electric vehicles, while other types of batteries may use this standard as a reference.
