Determination of Oxidation Stability of Gasoline – Induction Period Method

1 SCOPE

This Standard specifies the methods for determining the oxidation stability of gasoline under accelerated oxidation conditions.
This Standard applies to gasoline for motor vehicles, blend stocks of ethanol gasoline for motor vehicles and ethanol gasoline for motor vehicles, etc.
Note: For measurement of oxidation stability of gasoline by measurement of potential gum, refer to SH/T 0585.
