1 SCOPE
This Standard specifies the module models, system requirements, test methods, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of lithium-ion battery for electric motorcycles and electric mopeds.
This Standard applies to the lithium-ion battery systems for electric motorcycles and electric mopeds.

3 TERMS, DEFINITIONS AND SYMBOLS
For the purposes of this Standard, the terms and definitions established in GB/T 2900.41 and GB/T 19596 apply. For the convenience of use, the following terms and definitions contained in GB/T 19596 are listed herein.

Secondary cell
“Secondary cell” means the basic functional unit, consisting of electrodes, separators, electrolyte, container and terminals, which is a source of electric energy obtained by direct conversion of chemical energy and is designed to be electrically recharged.

3.2
Battery module
“Battery module” means the combination, intended as a power source, of more than one secondary cell in series and/or parallel connection, which has only one pair of positive and negative output terminals.

3.3
Battery system
“Battery system” means the energy storage device that includes one or more battery modules and appropriate accessories, such as management system, high-voltage circuits, low-voltage circuits, thermal management devices and mechanical assemblies, etc.
