Items and Methods of Motor Vehicles Safety Technology Inspection
1 SCOPE
This standard specifies the inspection items, inspection methods, inspection requirements and treatment of inspection results for motor vehicles safety technology inspection.
This standard applies to the motor vehicles safety technology inspections carried out by the motor vehicle safety technology inspection agency (hereinafter referred to as “Inspection Agency”). This standard also applies to the safety technology inspections on the entry motor vehicles carried out by the Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine authorities. Motor vehicles approved to undergo read-road test and those for temporary entry may be subjected to safety technology inspection by reference to this standard.
This standard doesn’t apply to safety technology inspection of the tractors running on the roads, e.g. tractor towing trailer for transportation.
