This standard specifies the type approval application, type approval test and emission limit, type approval extension as well as production conformity inspection method and emission limit of emission of fuel evaporative pollutants from heavy-duty vehicles equipped with P.I. engines.

This standard is applicable to heavy-duty vehicles equipped with P.I. engines.

This standard is not applicable to single gas-fuel vehicle.

This standard is not applicable to vehicles subjecting to fuel evaporative pollutant emission type approval according to the evaporative pollutant emission test method specified in Limits and Measurement Methods for Emissions from Light-duty Vehicles (II) (GB 18352.2-2001).
